This clever repositioning improves balance and usability. Traditional dryers often have bulky motors at the top, leading to arm fatigue after just a short while. In contrast, Dyson’s V9 digital motor spins at an astonishing 110,000 rpm, significantly outperforming the typical 20,000 rpm found in many dryers. This powerful motor channels 13 liters of air per second through the barrel, generating a concentrated and high-velocity airflow that dries hair from within while keeping the outer layer free from excessive heat. Moreover, the Supersonic is equipped with an advanced heat control system that monitors air temperature 40 times every second. Many lower-end dryers can hit alarming temperatures of 350-400°F, which can harm the protective cuticles. The Supersonic ensures a consistent temperature, enabling rapid drying without the negative effects of high heat. Unlike typical dryers that only offer low, medium, and high settings, this model provides three speed settings and four heat levels, along with a cold shot button to lock in your desired style by sealing the hair cuticle.
